Room Navigator - Complete System Switcher and Controller

THE AUDIO VIDEO SWITCHER
The Room Navigator is a multi-video format A/V switcher and control system in a box. It is an affordable solution for single display A/V installations in classrooms, boardrooms, conference rooms and multimedia environments.

The Room Navigator rack unit contains 3 video switchers---a 4x1 RGBHV switch, an 8x1 Composite Video Switch and an 8x1 S-Video Switch. Inputs 1 through 4 can be either Composite Video, S-Video or Computer. Inputs 5 through 8 can be used simultaneously for Composite Video and S-video. In addition, there is an 8x1 stereo audio switcher that supports balanced or unbalanced audio. The 8 audio inputs can be assigned to any of the 12 video inputs.

DEVICE AND ROOM CONTROL
The Room Navigator also incorporates a configurable control system with 4 serial ports, 4 IR ports with a learner, and 4 dry contact closures. These can be used to control sources, DVD players, VCR's, set top boxes, projectors or other display devices. They can also be used to control window treatments, screens or anything else that your installation requires.

REMOTE CONTROL
The Room Navigator can be remotely controlled with one of two wall plates, via RS-232 or a built-in IP Port with integrated web server. The basic wall plate (BRP shown below) provides volume control, audio and projector mute, source selection and 6 user definable buttons.

The advanced wall plate (ARP shown below) provides an additional 6 user definable buttons, a set of transport control buttons, and a set of menu navigation keys. The basic wall plate fits a standard 2 gang opening and the advanced wall plate fits a 4 gang opening.

ICT Driver (VSM-300 / 200 / 200p)
TC-Helicon worked with industry professionals to select and customize a speaker driver that sound great for voice, but also retain a balanced mix. The ICT (Inductively Coupled Technology) contains a woofer for lows below and within the voice frequency range as well as a tweeter to reproduce the high frequency components of the voice and other instruments. The ICT driver is a point source driver, meaning all the highs and lows come from the exact same point because the tweeter sits within the woofer. This gives the benefit of a consistent sound from near, far and off-axis.

Another great benefit of the ICT driver is due to the non-electrical methods used to couple the tweeter with the woofer, it is not possible to damage the tweeter.

The BASH amplifier delivers a clean and efficient 150 Watts / 200 Watts peak output to feed the ICT driver. The amplifier contains a limiter that not only protects the electronics and driver from damage, but reduces the likelihood of distortion without coloring the sound.

The Live Image Camera

The EYE-10 is a high resolution LIVE IMAGE camera. It can be used for various live image presentation applications. For example: as a Visualizer or for live image transmissions from room to room.

WolfVision is the technology leader in the Visualizer Market. The high quality standards of the EYE-10 come as no surprise because all components are nearly identical to those used for WolfVision's popular Portable Visualizer series.

The EYE-10 can be used like a Ceiling Visualizer (without light) when mounted on the ceiling or integrated into a suspended ceiling.

As the EYE-10 can pick up 30 non-interlaced frames per second, there is practically no difference in the smoothness of motion when compared to a PAL/NTSC video camera. But the resolution is much higher!
